This is the first post in what, depending on how busy I am, I hope to be a regularly updated blog. It’s focus will mostly be on the history of the politics, culture and science of food, but I’ll likely write posts on other, more contemporary issues that I find interesting. Because I’m a regular contributor at ActiveHistory.ca, many of my posts will also be cross-posted between the two sites.
